The Diploma in Nursing is a 3-year programme offered by the International Medical College (IMC). The programme is designed to prepare students to be a competent Registered Nurse through a comprehensive and varied programme of study involving simulated practice and fieldwork, team learning, clinical skills development & etc. IMC’s Diploma in Nursing students will obtain clinical experience at the Pantai – Gleneagles Group of Hospitals and other approved Government Hospitals as well as Healthcare Centers. Eligibility to Apply
- Candidate must be Malaysian citizen.
- Possess excellent academic records at SPM or STPM level (applications are encouraged, but SPM results must meet the academic entry requirement) with a minimum of 3 credits in Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics, and Science, and a pass in two other subjects including English.
- Be certified physically and mentally fit by a medical practitioner.
Selection of Candidates
The selection criteria of candidates for the sponsorships will be based on academic merit, financial need and socio-economic background as well as excellence in extracurricular activities. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the respective sponsors.
Good Command of Languages
All IMC students are required to have a good command of English. In addition, IMC students are expected to be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia because they have to function effectively as students, and later nurses.
